I have not done any deep research about the economy or the stock markets so I can only go by observation. As as of now I feel that the world is in a somewhat down and poor state. Education wise I feel that there are decreases with graduates from high school and college. We see in the newspaper that the rates of unempolyment are rising. High rates of unemployment places and will continue to place people at the lower economic level. Resulting in poverty rates to rise as well.
The stock markets seem to be doing bad right now from what is seen in the daily newpaper and new channels. Personally my mother has been in the process of buying a house, currently she's been trying to get a house for the past two years. Often when I read the Los Angeles Times on Sunday's I can't remember the last time I saw the stock markets in a good position. This topic itself has made me want to be more informative about the world and the area in which the ecomony is headed.
The economy in my opinion is headed toward another depression. If the new president doesn't bring change I feel that the economy is going to go through a state of poverty. For example, in a few years when I graduate from college I will be greatly affected when it comes to finding a job and having a stable income. This election will affect college graduates, high school graduate, low-income families and basically every working Amercian here in Amercia. It's a scary thought to think about me possibly having to go through a depression. After being faced with this question of "where the world might be going" I have to say that I'm really concerned. Are we going to let history, of another depression, repeat itself? This next election will let us know all we need. The future, for the good or for the bad rests at the hands of the winner of this novembers presidental election.
